Get immersed in culture, language and all things Mallorca in this hands on Tour that will have you speaking like a local in no time! We skip the classroom for a delicious Mallorcan breakfast and start practicing our Spanish skills in one of the oldest bars in Mallorca. Know your ensaimada from your sobrasada, your hasta luego from your hasta pronto and discover how Spanish has played its part in all aspects of local life, culture and food.
We meet at the impressive church of Saint Francisco, a beautifully historic landmark, and walk together to our favourite bar in Palma. Hidden down an inconspicuous backstreet, this bar is an institution in Mallorca and is a must for anyone visiting Palma. It dates back to the 1700s and its ice-cream, horchata and perfect ensaimadads have been pleasing locals and travelers ever since!
Here we enjoy a typical breakfast and share with you some key Spanish phrases that will help you to uncover the local life and culture of Mallorca. The experience is very informal and interactive–more like a conversation with good friends-and it will have you walking away with key historical and cultural insights.
But the learning doesn’t end with the tour. Everyone gets their own Spanish book to take home as a souvenir so you can keep practicing and putting your Spanish to excellent use! Oh, and we cater for all levels too!
