  • We meet in the picturesque village of Esporles, gateway to the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sierra Tramuntana Mountains. A short walk later and we arrive at Ramon’s, our Paella Maestros family house and your new home for the day. We prefer to cook outdoors, out in the sun and with views of the mountains, but in case of bad weather we move indoors to cook in the kitchen.

Together we source the finest ingredients for our Paella and enjoy a chance to sample the flavour of local village life. Ramon will talk you through the importance of each ingredient and the best way to prepare them as he guides you through how to make a perfect paella! But cooking can be thirsty work so as we cook we will also sample some local tapas and enjoy a beer or soft drink.

Be prepared to get stuck in on this hands on experience and treat your all your senses to a culinary treat like no other. From start to finish our cooking classes will share with you the secrets of the Paella, its history, background and importance to local life. And don’t forget to ask your guide and personal chef lots of questions to uncover recommendations, cooking tips and local insights!

Once it’s ready, we dive into the best part: lunch! We match your Paella with some of the best local wine Mallorca has to offer, all followed by a homemade dessert with coffee or tea. More? Okay! Wash it down with a typical after meal local liqueur, a glass of Mallorcan Hierbas. Its a tradition in Mallorca made from a mix of herbs and fragrant leaves and has a refreshing aniseed finish. And ours isn’t any old hierbas-it’s homemade by our local guides!

Let us wash the dishes as you enjoy the afternoon chatting with your hosts, exploring more of the village… or by taking a nap after all that paella!
